Many FinnSonic cleaning machines and process lines remain in operation for decades. Built primarily from recyclable stainless steel and designed with maintenance, service and modernization in mind, they are made to support long service life rather than replacement cycles.
For customers, this means lower lifecycle costs, less material waste and greater long-term process reliability.
Sustainability in daily operations
We continuously improve the environmental performance of our own operations in Lahti, Finland. Since 2021, our facilities have operated with 100% renewable electricity, and since October 2022 our heating has been provided through locally produced renewable Green Heat. FinnSonic has also reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions through energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy choices.
In September 2024, FinnSonic joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as part of our long-term approach to emissions reduction and continuous improvement.
Local value creation
FinnSonic designs, assembles and tests its solutions in Finland. A significant share of direct purchases are made in Finland and a substantial portion coming from suppliers located close to our factory in Lahti.
Local sourcing supports long-term supplier relationships and expertise, while short transport distances allows low emissions in inbound logistics.
Supporting safer and more efficient processes
Sustainability is also linked to process performance. FinnSonic systems are designed to help customers maintain consistent cleaning quality while supporting safe and efficient production environments. Enclosed process solutions help improve operator safety and reduce unnecessary exposure to process chemicals.
Many FinnSonic cleaning technologies are water-based and energy-efficient, helping customers achieve reliable cleaning results with controlled resource consumption.
